Harbord wins Zone 9 State Fours Final

Congratulations go to Steve Smith, Mark Delia, Paul Leckey and Terry Warder for taking out this years Zone 9 State Fours final by 1 shot over the North Sydney side of Alan Coy, Zak Abro, Gerard Kebourian and Kenta Treacher

Behind for most of the game, Harbord trailed 11-17 with 3 ends to play but showed real character by picking up a 3 and a 1 to trail by 2 going into the last end. A long end was called, Steve played 2 great bowls and when Mark added another shot had the victory in sight. The change of length proved to be the right decision with the guys holding on to the 3 shots to take out the game by 1 shot.
